.Areas of light snow or a mixture of light snow, light freezing rain and sleet will gradually taper off through the day. Some areas will see precipitation change over to all rain. Additional snowfall amounts should be a half inch or less, with light additional ice accumulations possible.

* WHAT...Light snow, or a a mixture of light snow, light freezing rain and sleet will continue to be possible. Precipitation will gradually taper off today, and may become all rain before ending. Additional snowfall amounts should be less than half an inch, with light additional ice accumulations possible.

* WHERE...This will affect southwest Indiana, southeast Missouri, western Kentucky and portions of southern Illinois east of Interstate 57.

* WHEN...until 6 PM CST today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will likely impact the morning commute.
